Pours a light, slightly cloudy amber with a scant half-finger of soapy head that dissipates almost intantaneously and leaves no lacing.

The aroma is comprised of slight caramel malt and a modest floral bouquet.

For the most part, this is a smooth, straightforward session beer. Mild caramel malt and moderate floral, English-style hops. Apparently dry-hopped too, but the hops really end up rather rounded out (a result of the cask delivery?)

Overall, a pleasant and solidly drinkable beer (and surprisingly reserved for the NW) and entirely worth drinking. However, the appearance was really quite bad. I can attribute the pour to the pub, but the horrible head retention is the fault of the brewery.
