Served in a standard pint, the beer is orange with a tan head & really nice lacing. Very attractive beer, Im not sure Ive ever seen any beer with this color of orange before.
The nose was surprisingly hoppy with nice citrus notes and lots of bread/ dough.
The taste is slightly bitter with lots of caramel. There is a bit of raisin taste and the beer also takes on some pine notes. This has a nice level of complexity.
The mouth is a sturdy and a bit oily. Easy drinking alternative to a standard Oktoberfest. Get this one while you can!
