Look: Murky dark brown and looks blood red when held to light with a generously forming tan head that holds up as a pillow and leaves sticky lacing behind
Aroma: Roast, rich maple syrup, warm brown bread, a little alcohol, some chocolate, and faint woodsy and earthy notes as well
Taste: Chocolate, roast, and bready malt come on strong before a big punch of maple joins the fold. As the chocolate and roast fade, maple syrup notes continue on along with a little of the woody notes I got in the nose and finishes with more roast and chocolate
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, medium-high carbonation, somewhat soft as well but has some boldness and sharpness on the finish along with noticeable dryness
Overall: I dig it. I wasn’t sure about this one even though this brewery has impressed me as I feared the maple could overpower other aspects and lead to a sweet mess but I’m glad I was wrong. The maple is well integrated into the base porter and with its robust and drier finish, it really balances out well. Another hit and recommended

12 oz. can , part of a 6 pack from Grocery Outlet in Salem OR.
$8.99.
Liked their stout now back to try this.
Pours a darker coca-cola brown body, with a small tan head..
Aroma of brown maple sugar, coffee and semi sweet chocolate. Nice.
Taste is very nice all of the above add some caramel and some really bitter dark fruit. Well balanced. The maple is there but does not overwhelm. Roasty after taste..which i like in a porter.
Mouth feel was good and on style not thick but easy to drink. Well carbonated.
A very nice porter. really tasty
