Look: Apricot in color and hazy, although not fully, with a sudsy white head that ends as a lid and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: Mandarins, cantaloupe melon, nectarine, boysenberry, mango, navel orange, papaya, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Mixed berries and light tropical fruit open things up as waves of sweet citrus fruit trickle in and join. Nectarine and strong citrus fruit holds the middle down before being rejoined by tropical fruit and berries for the close
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, and pretty soft on the finish with no astringency
Overall: I dig it. This is the only McKenzie brew in their year-round lineup I hadn’t had tried due to it being a hazy but I think this one drinks like a tweener and it’s good. A nice fruit mix all-around and not too heavy of a feel to be palate-fatiguing. Tasty and worth a try
