Look: Nearly clear yellow in color with a nice-looking white head that slowly builds and quickly settles to a film, leaving decent lacing behind
Aroma: Honey-slathered bread, blueberries, light citrus notes, strawberries & cream, and fir needles
Taste: Strong fir needle-led conifer and blueberries come on strong, which I find odd but welcome given my nose didn’t get a ton of conifer. Citrus and berry notes weave in and out before closing with sweet bready malt and a respectable hop bite.
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, quite clean throughout, and some definite albeit mild dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. Another winner from these folks and a cool concept as they call it “people’s choice” in that each year they brew 3 IPA’s, let people vote, and release the winner. A solid WCIPA that is a nice 5.3% and feels bolder than the 25 IBU’s listed

19.2oz stove pipe can fromWaremart in Keizer OR
$3.25
Pours a nice crystal clear golden colour with a very large rocky/frothy off white head.
Aromas malty with a bit of floral hops.Maybe some lemon juice.
Taste mainly sweet bread and sourness..this beer is old. There was no date on the can.
Mouth feel old and flat..dated.
OUt of date beer..must be 5 months old at least..as i say no date on the can. Avoid.
