19.2 oz. stovepipe can bought from Waremart in Keizer OR.
$3
Strange looking beer! Pinkish tinged dark gold. Nice frothy white head.
Fruity aromas at first..like cherry, sweet apple the prickly pear? Then get somenice floral hops.
nice juicy taste , but not overly sweet. I am guessing the prickly pear. Biscuit like malts balance.
Mouth feel is very nice. Medium with medium carbonation. Not cloying.
Very drinkable ale here

Look: Opaque pinkish-red in color with a sudsy light pink head that froths up and quickly settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Tuna pulp and juice, honey-like sweetness, watermelon, slight grassiness, and bready malt notes
Taste: Starts out with a honey-driven sweet note and almost immediately joined by a blast of pureed prickly pear, watermelon, and kiwi that intermingle well. A little malt sweetness is present but this is a juice bomb throughout and on the close as well
Mouthfeel: Full but light, medium-high carbonation, and a soft and slightly smooth finish
Overall: I dig it. I’m admittedly a prickly pear fruit (tuna) fan as I think it brings a very unique flavor/aroma profile to the table so wanted to try this one when I saw it and it’s good. Well-crafted and utilizes the fruit well, plus I personally think a blonde ale is a great base for fruit beer. Nice work to the folks at McKenzie
