Look: Clear rich yellow and the pour brings on a lively but short-lived head that ends as a lid, leaving spotty lacing behind
Aroma: Straw, corn, cracker-led malt, wafts of floral hops, and a light biscuity note
Taste: Biscuits and straw kick it off and are immediately followed by a nice floral hop bouquet along with some crackers. The floral notes develop as malt flavors go back and forth and a little corn shows up at the end
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a crisp and clean finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a good, solid chela that isn’t overtly corny, pun intended, and quite refreshing to drink. Definitely tasty and satisfying on this 100-degree day and I could easily crush several of these while enjoying the outdoors – or indoors too
