Look: Black as night with a nice-looking brown head that has good retention, slowly settling to a lid and leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Cold brewed coffee, baker’s cocoa, roast, toasted brown bread, earthy notes, and light nuttiness
Taste: Starts out with roast and a little nutty note that hold for just a second before being bombarded with coffee and dark chocolate. Bread, coffee, and chocolate mingle nicely with roast, earthiness, and nutty notes throughout the middle and close
Mouthfeel: Full, silky smooth, medium-high carbonation, and a lightly robust finish
Overall: This is good stuff. This is a really tasty and well-made oat coffee stout that has great depth of flavor, good balance, and an awesome feel. These folks continue to impress over the last two years since they have become accessible and this one continues that trend. Recommended
