Look: Amber red and opaque with a beige head that fluffs up but is short-lived, quickly settling to a film, and leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Pine needles and cones, pink grapefruit, freshly baked bread, tangelos, caramel, and fir needles
Taste: Starts out with sappy pine reminiscent of smelling pitch-covered hands along with some fir and other coniferous forest-like tastes before being joined by pithy citrus. Grapefruit, orange, and tangelos all in the mix along with tasty malt throughout and closes with more conifer and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and a light dry note on the finish
Overall: This is good stuff. Another tasty libation from these fine folks and not only tasty but for a good cause and awareness too. Nice citrus/conifer hop notes coupled with caramel-led malt flavors that work well in combination and it all comes together in a nice and tasty Red IPA package. Recommended
