Look: Nearly clear medium orange in color with a bulky white head that swells and slowly settles to a cratered pillow, leaving awesome lacing behind
Aroma: Fresh and roasted chili peppers, wafts of citrus fruit, warmed bread, and vegetal notes
Taste: Kicks off with some vegetal notes and roasted peppers before being quickly followed by a splash of lemon-lime and some muted orange. Malt presence is noticed but in the background and closes with nice herbal notes and fresh chili peppers
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and slightly soft finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a good and interesting beer as it is a total hybrid between a chili beer and a pale ale and although I wasn’t initially sold on it working, having had several now I can say it does. Props at pulling it off to these folks as the citrus, vegetal, chili combo is really tasty and enjoyable to me
