This bier, to me, looks like an O-Fest should! It had a clear, medium-copper color, atop which was a short, yet creamy, off-white, fine head. The head left some real nice lacework in the glass, too. The nose displayed a toasty, bready maltiness; mild at first but much more evident as it warmed. Both body and smoothness on the tongue were about medium. The flavor started (when cool) as a mild, bready malt flavor, not too strong, with a slight hint of citrussy hops at the end. As the bier warmed, the malt overtook any hop flavor, and dominated nicely from start to finish. I enjoyed this one, especially the latter half when it was not so cool. Prosit!!
