Located at the corner of Central Avenue and 109th St West, the entry was oriented to the corner at an angle. Coming in, the place branched out on a left/right division with the m.d.s. straight in from the doorway and acting as the demarcation point. I was less concerned with the restaurant, which was off to the left. Coming into the bar/brewpub area, there were two green-felt pool tables followed by a veritable sea of standard tables with chairs on roller wheels. The bar was 5/8 of an octagon along the front corner of the building with the back bar fronting the copper-jacketed NSI brewhouse. The bar area also had a gaming area for the gambling-inclined as well as a popcorn machine, several video games and a bunch of tables and chairs on the 109th West Street side. Good camaraderie among the staff.
Beers: Six (6) house brewed - Black Goose Stout; Silver Lager; Mike's IPA; Honey Brown Ale; Raspberry Ale; and Red Leaf Lager.
The IPA was way too watery to be of any merit. Black Goose was passable. I spoke to the manager about this disparity and he explained that it is because they are catering to the tastes of their clientele, not adhering to style. Fair enough.

Located in the Sutherland region of north east Saskatoon, it is a large smoke filled bar. It only has a handful of its own beers all of which seem to have a similar taste with different colours.
The staff had some knowledge of their product, but were unable to tell me much about the styles or the brewing system. I was in on a busy Monday evening and the majority of patron seemed to be drinking product other than what is produced in the pub.
Not far from Paddockwood brewing supplies, which is worth a visit.
Went back in September 04, beer still bland and not to style. The food was very good.
