341 ml bottle served in 16 oz pint glass.
Agressive pour yields nothing more than some large soapy looking bubbles that quickly disappear. Colour is black; red hues can be easily seen when held up to a light.
Smell is quite faint, seems to be a mixture of fruit and/or hops? and roasted malt.
On first taste, I'm immediately hit with a sour note. I do get some roasted flavours eventually, but a sour fruitiness remains. I like it, but it seems somewhat out of place. Hops show up in the aftertaste and linger for awhile.
Mouthfeel is thin and watery with almost no carbonation. Seems sorta lifeless.
This beer is an accidental "ice" version of their Black Cat Lager. It's been awhile since I've had one, but I don't remember it being quite like this. An interesting one-off brew, but not worth making again.
