1L plastic bottle with screw-top cap. Sticker on the bottle states beer type and "Brewed On:" date (Sep 07). Poured in a pint glass.
Clear, dark gold, almost orange in colour. Foamy 1/2 inch head at the pour is cream coloured, but recedes to a thin cap.
Fairly mild aroma. Mostly sweet with a little grain and malt.
Yikes... what the heck is this? Sweet to the point that it's almost like pop. Candy corn right off the top, but quickly disappears in a carbonation rush. Then... the only thing I can use to describe this taste is puke. Then into no taste at all. Then a few seconds later develops an off-veggie, macro aftertaste. Vile stuff this.
Medium bodied and fizzy. Leaves a bit of an oily feeling in the mouth.
This stuff is terrible. Too sweet at the start. The puke comment speaks for itself. Retched aftertaste. I'm only half done this glass, but the rest of it, and the rest of the bottle are going down the drain.
