This one was the seasonal special during my visit to the Monte Carlo.
The beer was a light copper with very good lacing.
The beer had a distinct grainy aroma. Smelled fresh and inviting.
The taste was slightly sweet and more than bit malty. There was a bit to much alcohol taste present. The hops emerge about ½ way through the beer and a nice bit of balance.
The mouth is slightly thin which was surprising given the grainy aroma and taste. Still an easy drinker and not a bad version of the lighter side of this style.

From a sampler: This is the seasonal available when we visited. Dark and clear amber/orange color with a thin off-white head. Vaguely malty aroma. Medium-bodied with a light malt character, but it struggles. Not much else going on flavorwise. The finish is lightly bitter hops that also dont have a lot of steam. One of the more palatable Monte Carlo beers which unfortunately is not saying much.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
