Walked in and asked the bartender what the brewers favorite was and he said "the Belgian!", so I tried it.
Pours a dark yellow almost amber and fairly clear. Not much head to speak of, although a thin lace maintains around the rim of the glass.
Aroma of spices and fruity esters. I could not discern any hop aroma.
Flavor was spicy, with light phenol notes, a little on the sweet side, and a bit of alcohol noted (definately warmed the tummy). Light-medium bodied.
I would have tried another option on the menu, but it was late, and this one put me at my limit.
