1L plastic bottle with screw-top cap poured in a pint glass. Sticker on the bottle tells the type of beer and the date bottled (this one reads Nov 01).

Clear and red-amber in colour. Foamy, light beige-cream head is 1 inch at the pour and slowly reduces to a thin cap. Some sheets of lacing down the sides.

Aroma is sweet with undertones of malt. Nothing great, but nothing terrible.

Taste is mildly sweet at the start with a little roasted malt character right before the carbonation hits. After the carbonation everything just kind of dies off. Very mild finish and aftertaste, both of which are sweet.

Mouthfeel is thin and a bit watery. Moderate carbonation.

This is a pretty average red ale. Nothing horrible, but nothing to really write home about either. It'll do in a pinch.
