On tap at 5 Islands in Woolongong
A-- Poured an orange amber color, medium to low carbonation and very thin white head that was more film. Their pint glass was not the best option for the beer I felt. More like a mug.
S-- Fresh hops. Orange, and lemon with a good Carmel malt kick.
T-- Very fresh, very hoppy, good malt background, with what I thought was honey thrown in. Was quite impressed.
M-- Big time flavor. taste stayed with me for a good 20 minutes after finishing. Was a lower medium carbonation and had the tannins of a IPA but also finished quite dry. More hop forward as it was fresh. I like a bit more of a malt kick but this was good.
D-- 2 is enough. Felt bigger than the listed 6.1% at the brewery. Very nice beer and worth going down and trying. Well priced for a pint at $7. They do some interesting stuff there and want to try more of their beers.

A pint on tap at The Local.
A - Pours a slighty hazy orange with a 2cm white head that slowly dissipates.
S - Fruity hop notes with a light yet noticeable clean malt sweetness.
T - Citrusy hop notes and sweetish slightly biscuity malt qualities combine very nicely.
M - Medium bodied, carbonation on the lower siden of medium. Slighty sticky with a mellow bitterness.
D - While I personally could take my AIPA with more alcohol kick and bitterness this is a very drinkable and well balanced attempt at the style by this improving microbrewery.

Tasted at the Five Islands brewpub, Wollongong.
A pale amber ale, thin slick head.
The aroma is hop heaven; nettles, oregano, other wild herbs I can't finger. Could dry this up and smoke it.
The flavour is again hop-driven, with herbal being the best adjective. Reminders of Campari or Swedish bitters.
Good lingering bitterness.

P - On Tap
A - Dark golden and orange. Cloudy with afantastic thick head which left some lacing on the glass.
S - Great smell, though a little faint, Hints of citrus hops and clean crips malt profile.
T - Good hop bitterness up front, strong refreshing hop bitterness, cirtus notes and spicy also. Good malt balance which really changes the profile of the beer as it got warmer.
M - Full flavoured body, Modeate cabonation helps carry all the flavours around. Mouthfeel is spicy but resfreshing.
D - Easy to drink for a hoppy beer. Great ale!
