This was the specialty brew on-tap at the brewpub in July 2008. Sampled a 2 cL glass.
Appearance was bright amber with a thick, light tan head and plenty of bubbly carbonation. Head thinned to leave a light amount of lacing on the glass.
Aroma was strongly spicy, overpowering any sort of sweet aroma that would have perhaps been expected in the nose.
Body was rather thin for a Bock. Again, rather spicy, with a backbone of sweet malt and a somewhat bitter finish. Rather refreshing and light-bodied, making it an easy drinker, but the cost kept the notion of drinking more at bay.
