An English Style sweet stout with fresh roasted beans from Three Bears Coffee Company in Knoxville, TN. The sweetness of the milk sugar balances well with the coffee we cold steeped in this brew during fermentation.

Pours like a Guinness Draught, looks promising. However, tastes like garbage. Smooth going down, but followed by a taste which I can only describe as musty basement. I wanted to explore other stouts due to my love of Guinness, but this is disappointing. There is no coffee or milk or smoothness or deliciousness involved with this beer. Now I have five more that I have to stomach out of desperation. I wouldn't feel good about giving this one away to friends, subjecting them to something that seems like grandpa has had in the back of his fridge since '94. Blech.

Can see red around edges while sitting at darker bar. Aroma is a little astringent, coffee, roasted malts. Taste is about the same, kind of week not very good little artificial tasting. Mouhfeel is lighter then you would think a little dry tasting. Overall eh wouldn't drain poor but more or less doing a short review because I could swear I have had this before and don't want to try it again.
