Pours black with just a few glints of red in the bright light, with a big creamy head, champagne-colored. Smells are of some cellar funk and a surprisingly intense raspberry smell, with a bit of candy/caramel. The raspberry is still there in the flavor, and the funk translates as sourness, in front of a chocolate and caramel thing. The feel is quite full and creamy, but with a good lick of carbonation to clean things up. (Note: I don't really know if available year-round but need to pick something to add the beer and I feel like I've seen it around enough.)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
