Sept. 2014: 750 ml corked and caged "champagne" bottle, from the Norwegian importer, as Bzart Single Hop Tradition Brut Nature. Apparently Tradition is the hop variety used. ABV is 14%. Does this beer need a split? Hazy golden colour, large white head. Interesting aroma - farmhouse, oak, leather, over-ripe apples, honey. Very sweet and alcoholic flavour, certainly not "brut". Sugar, honey, alcohol, some bittering hops. Unbalanced. Whatever the idea was behind this beer, they did not succeed.
