A light brown brew with a thin tan froth. An array of tart fruits (black cherry, black grape, plum, prune) mingle with other notes of burnt sugar and yeast. Has a medium tartness and remains spritzy throughout. Notes of grape juice and skin are noticed. Very dry and very light and pretty dang good.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. 2012 bottle #145/200.
Appearance - Clear reddish body. Nice white head. Wide collar. Brownish as it settles down.
Smell - Musty and acidic. Lemony and lots of cherry. A little jammy. Oaky.
Taste - Cherry and a flat malt flavor. Not a lot of sourness. Oaky. Too malty.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, too sugary. Not sour enough.
Overall - This Bzart just doesn't cut it. Nothing weird going on, but it's not good.

1.5L bottle shared by Travlr. Thanks Gene!
The beer is ruby red with a big head even after a gentle pour. Lots of bubbles. Aroma of authentic Belgian kriek. Sour cherries, oak, funk. All about the cherries here. Easy drinking. Fizzy on the palate with more carbonation than is customary for this style. Due to the large bottle, I was able to go back for a few pours of this. A really solid beer. Not my favorite kriek by any means, but certainly genuine and solid. Definitely worth trying.

75cl bottle
The appearance is deep ruddy red with a massive head.
Bright, vibrant cherries on the nose. Fruit leather. A bit of barnyard. Mild funk.
The taste is more jammy red fruits. General fruity sweetness. Mild tartness from the cherry. Lightly acetic through the finish.
Light on the palate. Drinks very well for 8%. A bit excessive in the carbonation. Overall, not particularly nuanced, but very tasty !
