Had a pint at the Fogcutter in Haines.
Deep rusty red / brown, mostly clear but slightly murky. Thin head and slight lacing of white. Nose is mild malts. Taste is non-distinct corn and malts, with a very slight fruity hint. Mouthfeel is a on the thin side. Easy going.

An aggressive pour out of the growler results in a one and half finger, light tan head that is rather dense. The body is a pretty amber-gold, favoring the amber. Lacing left behind is thick, clumpy, and sticky.

The smell has a nice, earthy, mineral-like quality to it, which highlights sweet and toasty malts. It's a very clean aroma which harkens to mind pear and peach. There is just a hint of a citrus hop aroma within, too.

Nicely rounded, nutty malt flavors arrive on my palate first, followed by a sweet, light fruitiness. The fruitiness transitions from a mellow pear-like flavor to a hint of citrus hops, before the mineral-like, dry finish wipes the palate clean. Well-balanced, fresh, and clean.

I'd say the word that most well-describes the mouthfeel is clean. The body of the beer is light-medium and the finish is fairly puckering and dry.

Amber/Red Ale is not my favorite style, but I found this beer very satisfying and I think it would be a very nice session beer. Light, fruity, nutty, clean, and just slightly hoppy. Well done.

On tap at Hangar on the Wharf: appearance is a light amber/red colored body with a slim less than a half finger white foamy head (bar pour, ya know); active carbonation is seen rising at a good pace; the aroma is slightly biscuity almost bready malts up front; lightly bitter hops in the background (citrusy - maybe), unsure; very easy on the palate and went well with my baked salmon; overall; whoah great red ale from Haines that I would have again.

This was in a pint glass. Bar pour at Hangar on the Wharf.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt red color.
The smell had some light toast, caramel malt and light citrusy hops.
The taste was moderately sweet with a light bitterness from the citrusy hops.
The mouthfeel was about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and dandy.
Overall, its not a bad Amber at all, its just not a stellar one.

I had this on tap at Hangar on the Wharf.
In a pint glass, bar pour yields a typical film of a white foamy head. Lacing was few and far between.
The smell had a decent toasty earthy maltiness. Light citrus hoppiness rolls around a bit.
The taste was basically the same.
The mouthfeel was a nice rolling clean and smooth under coating of caramel rolling over my tongue. There is a dry lingering finish.
Overall, good amber to have again.
