This big bold barleywine has a heavy carmel malt body. The higher alcohol content is remarkably balanced. 45 IBU

Sampled at the brewery.
Deep but clear rusty red/orange. Small lacy head. Looks beautiful and intense.
Nose is straight up grain alcohol. Impressive, but doesn't make you want to drink it. Reminiscent of Chinese baijou.
Taste is like a big malt liquor. Alcohol and malts. Strong grain alcohol, not balanced.
Mouthfeel is decent. Not super drinkable.
