Cape Ann Brewing Company "Old Anteater"

Notes: Typical appearance with a creamy tan head and dark brown/black body. Surprisingly good head retention but only average lacing (perhaps it's the bar glass?). Fruity, chocolatey, and caramelish in the nose. More roasty in the flavor and slightly tart. Not that bitter but balanced. The alcohol never shows. Medium leaning towards medium-full in body and smooth with a delicately bristling carbonation. Fruity in the finish with a tart edge and dark chocolate lingering. Worth trying.
