6.5% canned on 11/09/18. Pours a very dark brown with a solid finger plus of dark tan head that leaves little patches of spotty lace, settles slow enough. 4
Smell is biscuity grain, vanilla bean, maple, cocoa, and a little coffee. 3.75
Taste follows the biscuit, vanilla, and maple dominate, with some chocolate and coffee in the background. 3.75
Mouthfeel is a tad thinner than even medium, very gentle carbonation, a tad dry, and drinks maybe a tad larger than its 6.5% ABV 3.5
Overall a solid beer, wouldn’t go out of my way to get more but pleasant enough and I didn’t purchase was in a swap. 3.75
