Another old one, canned 5/24/19, and again just picked up at the store.
Pours a large frothy foamy almost 2 finger head with med retention, messy sticky lacing, very hazy golden straw color
Nose is decent, some sweet-grainy malt, little bread and grain, light pilsner malt notes, touch of floral hops, but then when I swirl it some fruity ester aromas and maybe vegetal but hard to tell, probably from the age, well as it warms I think the vegetal notes are actually just corn DMS from the pilsner malts which is OK for the style
Taste starts with more grainy-sweet pilsner malts, some corn DMS out front, a little cooked vegetables though which is more than just the corn and probably from the age, light fruity esters also prob from sitting in the can, little doughy straw and grain, med-lighter bitterness with floral herbal hops, med dry finish
Mouth is med bod, higher foamy carb
Overall has some promise of a good beer, but age affected it, so I def need to try this fresh again when possible

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
