Pretty decent, standard MaiBock in my opinion.

smell was a little light on depth.

Nice little bite with an abv around 6.5, and decent bready, toffee like qualities lingering on the pallette.

A little waery on the mouthfeel I must say.

Nothing special, but definitley decent

Appearance: Served a golden orange color with a frothy cap.

Smell: Sweet honey Munich malt aroma. A hint of grain and some sugar. Nice.

Taste: A smooth lightly spiced sweet malty flavor in the mouth is remarkably easy going. Extremely quaffable, slightly reserved flavor with only a subtle floral green showing up in the finish of this balanced sweet relaxed beer.

Mouthfeel: Creamy and smooth around the edge and remarkably slick and juicy through the center.

Drinkability: This beer sits very lightly. It is an easy drinking very good Miabock I highly recommend this on-tap at Barley Creek. Well done!

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

Honestly, I must say that Maibocks have never thrilled me in the past. They just don't tend to be big on flavor to me. Barley Creek's Maibock, however, is definitely an exception. It smells sweet and honey like, and pours a sparkling deep golden color. The taste is sweet and malty, a hint of honeylike sweet flavor. There's no real hops bitterness, but a very slight floral / herbal flavor that must be coming from the hops. No noticable alcohol taste, which is unusual for a bock. Overall, a very full and rich brew for the style, while remaining light enough to be enjoyable. Good level of carbonation... enough to be refreshing without being overdone. All told, extremely drinkable and flavorful!
