Drank at The Crown Inn, Oakengates, a well known and loved Real Ale pub.
This beer looked great, sadly it went down hill from there. A very clear beer, dark amber in colour with a thin white head which stayed for the whole pint (normal sleeve pint glass).
The aroma was almost nowhere and nothing, the beer came a bit colder than I normally like, but even as the beer warmed up, only a faint hint of beery hops came from the liquid.
It tasted OK, a dry malt flavour, but nothing to shout about.
Very watery mouthfeel, nothing to it at all.
If only it had tasted and smelt as good as it looked, but it didn't!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
