a: a fast fading tan head sits briefly atop a deep black body;
s: really light coffee malts; bitter whisky; not much fragrance
t: first light coffee followed by smooth toasted nuts; some whole milk; some light oats; a very bridles oatmeal stout
m: smooth but very light body for the style
d: an ok oatstout but there are definitely better offerings.

Pours a dark red almost black color with some clarity. 1/2 inch head with some lacing.
The smell is very basic, just your standard stout. Couldn't catch much of the oatmeal in the nose.
The flavor is of roasted malts and dark chocolate. It is heavier on the coffee than on the chocolate. The oatmeal manifests itself as a granola flavor and chewiness. It is subtle in the taste but adds a fair amount of body to the beer.
The beer is very dry and sharp. Fair amount of bitterness. Agressive is a good descriptive word here. Body is nice and heavy.

This looks good with a nice dark color and a small head that leaves a good amount of lace.
The smell is decent, with stout characteristics lightly dotted by oatmeal. Oats are even more subdued in the taste, which struck me as fairly rough for the style. The mouthfeel was definitely more agressive than I would have liked.

Brew it up oatmeal stout
Poured a dark black with thick brown head. Left a moderate lacing.
Smell is strongly of sweetened dark chocoalte. Some Diacytel present in the nose small hops creates a dryness in the odor.
Flavor is very rich, with dark chocolate and malt dominating initially. In the middle some buttery diacytel hurtrs the overall flavor. At the back some nice overall dryness from the hops.
Feels a bit thin for the style, but very smooth and drinkable.
A pretty tasty beer overall.
