Sampled at the Newcastle Arms, Newcastle.
Appearance is golden copper with a thin head and no visible carbonation.
Smell is very hoppy, with raw notes that appear to be EKG. Earthy and a bit sharp. Some biscuity malt basenotes, but merely supporting the hoppy and bitter aspects of the beer.
Taste is hoppy with the same earthy and sharp notes of English hops. The yeast provides a mineralic fruitiness, that goes great with the hops. Body is quite thin, but not like water. Aftertaste is bitter and hop and medium long.
