This beer was described as a hopped-up amber ale by our waiter. The color is solid amber with a small, light brown head. The aroma consists of a typical amber malt aroma with a dry hop smell lingering at the end of a sniff. A sip begins with a standard amber ale malt flavor and is soon joined by hop flavor and bitterness. By the end of the sip the hops have easily taken over and provide a dry finish. This is a pretty good brew, but a richer malt flavor would have made this better. My overall impression is that this beer was designed for easy summer drinking and they definently succeeded in that regard.
