Had on cask at Volo during Toronto Beer Week. Pours a hazy dark amber colour with small off-white head and spots of lacing down the glass. Smell is of citrus hops with a bit of pine. Flavour is quite bitter, with a small bit of malt balance, but it works quite well I find. A little bit undercarbonated, but other than that a really enjoyable beer.

Nice, hazy red pour with a bubbly off-white head that put down a few lace spots. Hop-forward nose with a big dose of citrus and pine resin. Big hop flavour brings grape fruit and pine, with more or less enough malt to provide balance. Decent bitterness. Body is god and typical for a cask, but i can't help but feel that a regular tap would elevate this one and that the added carbonation would accentuate the bitterness nicely.

On cask, C-hoppy aroma. Dark red, 3/8 inch head. Chinook & Centennial, the brewer Russ tells us. This needs malt for balance, the hops are good as the beginning, but just bitter hops impedes drinkability. Drying finish. Lacey. Some sweetness but not balanced.Medium bodied.
