On tap pint at Volo. Bang on to the style, this beer had a great roasty nose and delivered the goods. Creamy thick porter, with a substantial roasty flavour, very drinkable. Opaque black body. Chocolate and coffee, crafted well with malting. One of the best brews on premise.

Had this on cask at Volo. Pours a chocolate brown colour with thin off-white head. Not too much lacing on the glass. Smells of sweet chocolate with a mild roasted malt. Fairly sweet flavour, the roast comes through a lot in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a little bit thin compared to other porters, but not overly so. A very tasty porter.
