On tap at Volo, 400ml pour into a tulip.
Poured an unfiltered orange with some slightly darker shades of the same colours, minimal lace and a thin collar. Nose has some Belgian yeast, tropical fruits - peach, nectarine, pineapple. Yeast lends an interesting spice character that's subtle in the finish. Tad of alcohol. Taste has some unripe peach, apple and more general unripe tropical notes, a shift from the fresher characteristics I got on the nose. Lightly yeasty and a hint of the spice I got in the nose - perhaps a touch herbal. Low-medium carbonation and medium weight. A somewhat underwhelming BIPA, but still decent on the whole.

Beer is a very murky looking light amber colour. Lots of lacing. Small white head.
Smell si full of hops and Belgian yeast. A slight citrus scent, a bit of soap and some pine.
Hops come through clearly in the taste. Fairly bitter. Pine and a bit of citrus. Light fruit flavours typical of a Belgian pale are present as well. Very slightly funky. Pine is most noticeable at the end, with a nice slight sweetness. Quite good.
Beer is highly carbonated. Medium bodied. A bit irritating, otherwise a nice feel.
Pretty enjoyable beer- a success in my view!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
