Enjoyed on tap at Bar Volo.Had some at Funk Night II then again the next day. A decent porter, with brett. Smooth mouthfeel though average bodied. Very dark thick foam. Smoke. Decent representation of the style. Nice one, just overwhelmed by the more extreme beers around these days.

On tap at the Beau's tap takeover at Volo, a rye porter.
Fairly black in colour, shades of deep red at the edges. Tan head with fantastic retention and lacing to boot. Nose is quite hoppy, mild citrus notes, some rye malt and a bit of roast as well. Taste is equally as hoppy, with citrus and more fruitiness. Dark malts, toasty and roasty rye malts play in with the hops. Mild bitterness and coffee notes come in the finish. Medium body with a medium high carbonation. A quite enjoyable hoppy porter.
