Billed as a "Black Rye Pale Ale"
Black with a good sized, frothy beige head. Decent retention.
Smell consist of roasted malt and citrus notes. A bit juicy.
Taste is very roasty, quite dominating. Rye is strongly present. Hops are noticeable as some citrus peeks through, but the flavour is mostly dominated by the malt bill.
Full bodied, quite heavy. Low carbonation. Surprisingly thick.
Overall, OK. A bit heavy on the roasty malt flavours.
