Dark brown colour almost near black, light tan head, some bits of lace. Smell is incredibly chocolatey, roasty with some vanilla, coffee and a bit of hop in the back as well. Taste is roasty with some liquorice, light notes of coffee, light sourish points, light sweetness too. Light carbonation, light-med feel, decent as well. A good porter, nice and flavourful, not outstanding though but still drinkable.

Cask Days 2012, the organizers brought this one it to supplement the rapidly depleted supplies. A good porter.Roasty aroma, good roasted chocolate taste. Very drinkable. Black and lacey. Balanced towards bitter, with nice integration of chocolate, a shift up from the 2010 version.
