Brewed with six malts, this amber-hued ale has subtle tones of caramel balanced with Cascade and Centennial hops which contribute a pleasant bitterness with notes of citrus in the flavor and aroma.

Serving: On tap at the Calistoga Inn, served in a shaker pint.
Appearance: Clear, deep mahogany brown with a modest head of off white foam and spare lacing.
Smell: Aromas of caramel, toasted grains, citrus peel and earthy hops.
Taste: Balanced and drinkable amber ale with toasty, caramel malt body, and just enough refreshing citrus, slightly piney and bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, and refreshing effervescent carbonation.
Overall: A straightforward, drinkable and refreshing red ale.

Appearance> Clear, lively. Mahogany. Not much head. Good lacing.
Smell>Grains, cereal, caramel.
Taste> tart start, hops, resiny/lagery finish.
Mouthfeel>Effervescent, foamy fullbodied.
Drinkability> Very drinkable.
Notes> Not the best red I have ever had but it is quite good, and the people running the brewery pub are great crack.
