This was poured into a pint glass, hmmm....yeah well, I guess not everyone knows to put their hefes in weizen glasses.
Here's the rest.
The appearance was a glossy to milky yellow color with a bar pour's kind of white head that quickly dissipated.
The smell had a sweet banana with light grassy to semi-earthy hops blending decently. Hmmm...there's no clove, uh....okay, well...
The taste was moderately sweet through the banana esters and hops.
The mouthfeel was pretty light bodied. Earthy creaminess rolls across my tongue.
Overall, if this is hefeweizen, then I am Mickey Mouse. Its more of an American Pale Wheat ale. Don't get me wrong, its enjoyable for what the brewery put out, but don't expect the normal qualities of a hefeweizen in this one.
