Poured from 12oz bottle into a tumbler. Best before 2/18/22. Del Oeste seems to be Cervecera de Puerto Rico's "craft" line.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a thin layer of frothy white foam atop. Looks pretty nice, but more head would be good.
Smell: sweet malt with a bit of toast and an appropriately autumnal character. Not too bad, actually.
Taste: a little bit on the sweet side, perhaps, but this is a lightly toasty malty lager that is pretty good despite its big-beer-company origins.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer isn't exactly "crushable", per se, but I'm pleasantly surprised by its quality.
