22 oz. Bomber
Poured into a goblet a pretty nice translucent golden brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger light tan head, which also leaves a nice medium size oil slick, and some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with a nice dark fruit complex (plums, grapes, raisins, dates, figs), bourbon/oak. The taste is pretty nice, malty, with a nice dark fruit complex (plums, grapes, raisins, dates, figs), bourbon/oak. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely. Overall, this one surprised me, pretty tasty. Nice to see it around here.

Dark, mahogany red body; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Rich caramel, toffee, and roasted grain aroma; some booziness and dark fruits. Malty sweetness on the tongue, soon dominated with a whiskey edge; caramel. Heavy body yet somewhat watery; alcohol warmth; residual sugar sweetness throughout yet finishes fairly dry.
Overall, this is a very nice dark ale, boozy with a nice balance of sweetness counteracting the barrel-aging effects.
