For this beer we tapped into an early 1900s southern-British style that’s almost extinct today. Look for a sweeter flavor profile, with tons of rich malty goodness, a touch of roast, and minimal hop character.

Clear, dark brown color, opaque in the bar's dim light; decent head; spidery mesh and fingers of foam streak the glass. Light dark malt smell with a delicate toffee sweetness. Rich, dark malt flavor with a respectable mild hop bitterness. Medium-light mouthfeel.
A nice iteration of an English brown ale; good while not exquisite.
