Enjoyed at the launch party of Pioneer's Bavarian Wheat, as a year-round offering.
Presented with a scant 1/4" off-white head over the cloudy burnished gold brew. Head is fleeting at best, with minimal lacing, both more or less to style. Aroma is light, with wheat dominant, accompanied by twinges of clove. Taste starts with the cloviness, which is immediately mellowed and overcome by the plentiful wheatiness. LOL Mouthfeel is soft and oh-so smooth, and drinkability is superb. Plan on bringing in the 1/4 keg for a fill ASAP.
