The next installment in our Mosaic Series, The Prophet showcases what Mosaic can do with a little help from a friend. Amarillo hops combine with Mosaic in this 7.1% NEIPA to impart a tropical fruit aroma, before hitting you with an orangey citrus punch and subtle floral notes.

16 oz can from Tavour. Orange golden, light haze, small skin of head. Aroma is citrus, orange zest. Taste adds fruity sweetness, following up with some light bitterness. Silky feel.

Look...definitely a little disappointing. Dark but only because they said it was a NEIPA on the can
Smell,,,hoppy citrus but also a little low for the style it is much more the tradition west coast like Sierra which is fine but not NE style that is all. Decent but nothing spectacular on the nose.
Taste...nice rich bold bitterness and full. So reminiscent of Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada. A lingering bitterness nice and drinkable. This is so un retired for a retired beer.
Feel...Thin and not juicy on the feel but adequate carbonation. No floaties which has been a complaint i have had from these dudes before.
Overall...This is alright and would drink again but nothing outstanding. Many other options cheaper for the same style and maybe a little better. The best part of this beer i s that it was free to me and beyond adequate....

This 16 ounce dose of orange-yellow brew somehow ended up in a nearby clear glass Imperial pint mug. Continuing, there was a white and fluffy head, but it was short-lived. There's not much glass lacing behind it. The Prophet forecasts a mild NEIPA via the nose. There's just a little more for the tongue than the nose. The balance between the malt and starchy softeners with a mild hit of dry hops is well done. This is a solid bodied ale, very bready and yeasty with just enough hop finish to make it work. The more mosaic hops are appreciated, the more love for The Prophet

A little too much citrus flavor has the brew losing it's mouthful feel but it still had a kick. Make a Mosaic/bitter hop unfiltered blend next time around. You're getting it.

Canned 12-8-18 (blurred on all cans.. this is an assumption)
L: Pours honey colored.. light head.. spotty lacing.
S: Pretty dull on 1st pour. Opens later with a bit of citrus.
T: Light citrus.. some tropical and melon flavors.
F: No bitter bite, carbonation, or aftertaste. Lack of body.
O: Not a bad beer.. but the flavors were't strong, the MF was weak.

Lots of hops, but very little bitterness. Very well done.

On tap at 2 Bros. Pours a clear golden orange with over an inch of frothy head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is lots of citrus. Orange, grapefruit and some fruit punch. The taste is grapefruit pith and orange along with some lime and fruit punch. A bit dank at the finish with a bit more citrus. Dry and lightly carbonated. Solid IPA I would look for again.
