Next up in our Harvest Time series, cranberry! From bog to beer, this 5.8% brew is lightly kettle soured and fermented with over 1500 pounds of cranberry puree. A pillowy pink head sits atop this unfiltered deep cerise beauty. The initial pop of puckering acidity gives way to a silky mouthfeel and subtle sweetness finishing dry with a lingering kiss of tartness. Pairs perfectly with a holiday meal or taking in the foliage while escaping the in-laws.

Had to try a cranberry beer, enjoy by 2021/06/09
Pours a pink foamy large almost 2 finger head with great retention, soapy lacing, crystal clear bright cranberry red color
Nose some lacto yogurt notes, a bit tart with bready malt, sour tart cranberry notes hit some earthy bog as well, general berry fruit
Taste brings tart cranberry up front, more tart and sour than I expected but in a good way, tart cranberry juice, little bready malt finish, more lacto yogurt funk, juicy berry, fair acidity, mouth watering
Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher foamy carb, bright acidity
Overall nice, solid sour without gong over the top or trying to be something it's not, and great cranberry character
