We’re continuing our sour series into the cooler months with black currant! In this kettle soured batch, we added 1,200+ pounds of black currants that imparts a gorgeous deep purple hue. We allowed the fruit to shine as the black currant’s natural sweetness and earthy flavors bring an added layer of complexity to the initial burst of tartness before fading into a sweet finish. Taste our fascination and find your inspiration!

A shocking magenta body has a hot pink head that softly settles to a creamy Pepto blanket.

Smell is fainter than the palate, giving off buttery pie crust, but not in an offensive way, with blueberry, cherry and raspberry sweetness.

This is surprisingly tart at first sip, but deliciously so, with a clean expression of fruit bush berries, and even notes of sweet malbec, as a touch of underlying pie crust supports the medium-full, round body that has a fulfillingly firm fizz, finishing semi-dry.
