Our west coast inspired IPA, Cross Country, utilizes the versatile Centennial hop at every stage of the brew from first-wort to dry-hop. Golden in color, this 6.2% brew starts with a pleasant floral and mild citrus aroma, showcasing a unique balance of pine and resinous grapefruit before finishing with a lingering bitterness. To find inspiration sometimes, you need to go Cross Country!

A: crystal clear; deep gold in color 1+ finger ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;
S: herbal, cat pee, and pine; the first whiff made me think the beer was bad - the combination doesn't really work; on subsequent whiffs, I was able to separate out the different part of the aroma;
T: nicely balanced for a moment; from the middle through the finish, it's an odd combination of malt sweetness and harsh bitterness; no hop flavor - just bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: neither the aroma nor the flavor were attractive to me;

L - 2.5 finger dense white head atop a translucent orange body.
S - herb, veggies. Not my favorite nose.
T - vegetal hops lead the way. Cabbage, turnip, beets. Some grapefruit, dank. Chalky middle. Moderate-low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium, oily body with higher carb.
O - vegetal hops just don’t work for me.
