Got a growler of this seasonal filled at the brewery yesterday.
Appearance: Very traditional tawny (think Paulaner) yellow with a 1 finger white crown that shows moderate retention and little lace.
Smell: Decent amount of belgian esters, clove, a faint hint of banana, and some citrus (mainly bitter orange) spring forth from the glass. I believe they told me that the brewer uses Safale S33 Belgian Dry Yeast and I'm pleasantly surprised by the results considering that choice. I'd give it a 4.2 if I could so I'm rounding down a bit.
Taste: Similar to the nose but the banana is more dominant and the citrus hits in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Smooth creamy, almost medium body, with decent carbonation for the style.
Overall: A solid although not fantastic wit! Could drink plenty of this on a warm day without complaining.

Screw-top growler filled at the brewpub.
First pour into my 2008 Pioneer stein yields a 1" bright white head over the cloudy light gold brew. Frothy head slowly fades, with thick slow-falling lace. Aroma is rich wheat character, with light banana and cloves. Taste starts with the same wheat character as the nose, then provides a delicate tartness in the middle, and closes with a lightly spicy hop note. Mouthfeel is wow smooth and soft over the tongue, with excellent drinkability.
